Member Offboarding SOP

Remove access and reassign work cleanly when someone leaves.

When to use

When a team member departs or changes role.

Procedure

  • 1. Reassign the person’s open tasks to new owners.
  • 2. Update or remove their membership and role on the Members page.
  • 3. Transfer any project-manager ownership they held.
  • 4. Confirm they no longer appear as an assignee on active work.
  • 5. Review the activity log for a clean handover record.
