Client Onboarding SOP
Give new clients a smooth, professional, optionally-branded start.
When to use
When signing a new client or engagement.
Procedure
- 1. Create a project for the client and assign a PM.
- 2. Record the client’s contacts as stakeholders (assigned-by) — they don’t need system access.
- 3. Set up the initial task list, milestones, and any recurring retainer work.
- 4. Apply white-label branding if enabled, so the experience and reports carry your brand.
- 5. Share the kickoff plan and progress via an exportable, client-ready report.
- 6. Schedule a recurring client check-in.
Note on access
